Subject and research question: (protocol available on request)
- To describe and compare 75+, 85+, and 95+ cohorts in terms of demographic, socio-economic, and medical status upon entry into the cohort (i.e. 75th, 85th, or 95th birthday)
- To identify demographic, socio-economic, and medical determinants and predictors of becoming 75+, 85+, and 95+
- To quantify healthcare use (according to major disease categories) by the 75+, 85+, and 95+ cohorts
- To compare healthcare use by the 95+ cohort, to younger cohorts, including 75-80-, 80-85-, 85-90-, and 90-95-year-olds
- To identify demographic, socio-economic, and medical determinants and predictors of healthcare use by the 75+, 85+, and 95+ cohorts
- To identify, in the 75+, 85+, and 95+ cohorts, demographic, socio-economic, and medical determinants and predictors of being admitted to a nursing home

Analyses of routine healthcare data (ELAN data warehouse: https://www.elanresearch.nl/)
Role of the student:
- Determine which data are necessary for one or more of the above objectives.
- Obtain necessary data from the ELAN data warehouse.
- Perform analyses
- Organize and interpret results
- Write report
