About Bo
Dear students,
My name is Bo van Oldenmark, and this year I became one of the Confidential Contact Persons (VCP) at LUMC. Alongside my role as a VCP, I work as a PhD researcher in Neonatology, dedicated to caring for the very smallest of patients. Outside of work, I love creative things, such as painting, theatre, and singing, and you’ll often find me at a restaurant or at the cinema for the latest movie.
To me, the LUMC should be a place where you feel safe and can fully be yourself. That’s the foundation for learning, growing, and enjoying your student years (which people love to call “the best years of your life”, a cliché, I know). That’s also why M.F.L.S. appointed two VCPs this year, so there’s always someone to turn to if boundaries are crossed.
If something doesn’t feel right, or you have an experience you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out to me or Emilio. We’re here to listen with care and without judgment.
x,
Bo
