Evaluation of Education
Educational committees evaluate the education in the LUMC. They use the opinion of the whole class to do this. After every course, all student fill out a questionnaire. With the results from this questionnaire, the year representatives agree upon point of improvement for next year.
You can see the evaluation cycle below:
- Students fill out a questionnaire (GOES) to evaluate the course / theme. The results are sent to the JVT's which process these into a report.
- The report is discussed together with the course coordinators, year coordinator and educational expert in a ''panelgesprek'' (meeting). This meeting usually results in the formulation of points of improvement for next year.
- These results are shared with DM (dual management). They write a separate report advising the course coordinator to improve / change the course next year.
- These year after, a new survey is sent out and the formulated point of improvements are checked to see if they are improved.
