Dear reader,

A warm welcome to the mythical Member Exploitation page! My name is Miloš, I am 21 years old, and in the year leading up to my clinical rotations I have the honour of fulfilling the role of Operations Officer.

I began my life in Bussum, but when I started studying, I moved to Leiden. I’ve now been living in the Key City for three years, and I’m really enjoying it here! I live in a mixed house with eight housemates. Every Tuesday evening, I face a consistent quadrilemma: having drinks with my 'Gilde' ' Pluizig & Blauw', stepping into the 'Zwanezaal' with my rowing crew or house, chattering away with the BarCie during the HLV’s, or choosing that self-care night on the couch.

Although I’ve held various committee positions during my student life within Forestus and Njord, my M.F.L.S. career consists solely of the combined role of Treasurer/Activities Officer in the Year Representation of Medicine year 2. I found this a truly wonderful role due to its central position within my cohort, the ability to improve education, and the insightful conversations with lecturers.

As Operations Officer, I hold a diverse position this year. First and foremost, I am ultimately responsible for the Renewal of Association and Board project, where I work on a future-proof plan to ensure that the Association’s offerings align more efficiently with the needs of our Members. In addition, in collaboration with Tess, the Treasurer of BarManagement, I am responsible for the finances of HePatho, and I also support Naomi in coordinating all committees. Finally, I also serve as the supervising board member for several committees, namely Mediski and the Almanac Committee.

If you’re looking for me during the week, there are roughly three places where you’ll find me: in the boardroom doing accounting, in HePatho having meetings or drinks, or in the DC (in a committee meeting). You are always welcome to drop by the boardroom or come up to me if you have any questions or just want to chat!
