Floor

Dear reader,

How nice of you to take a look at our website! You’ve found the president’s page, and this year that is me! 

My name is Floor van Dillen. My parents live in Arnhem, but in 2019 I decided to find a place of my own and moved to Leiden. The past 3 years I have studied medicine, I maintained a side job here at the LUMC and spent a lot of time with friends in Leiden. In my first year I took part in two committees and I fell in love with the M.F.L.S.. It is a great honor to invest in this association and contribute to the M.F.L.S.-experience for others this year. 

As president of the M.F.L.S. board, I am in contact with all kinds of parties. For example, I am involved in internationalization, I am the point of contact for the Board of Directors of the LUMC and I have contact with the members. In addition, together with the secretary, I am responsible for determining and implementing the policy plan. Lastly, I am responsible for the coaching of the student representation (PRC) of the master Population Health Management.

One of my main responsibilities is the functioning of the board. I personally think this is one of the greatest aspects of my function! I regularly have conversations with everyone to be informed, to keep an overview and to see if things are going well. In this way I enjoy a bit of all functions and I spend time with my board members.
