Leids (bio)Medisch Journaal
Het Leids (Bio)-Medisch Journaal (LBMJ) lanceerde in november 2008 haar eerste editie. Nu de voorbereidingen voor de tweede editie in volle gang zijn, hebben we jouw hulp hard nodig!
Het LMBJ is een blad voor en door studenten, uitgegeven door de M.F.L.S.. In het LBMJ worden artikelen geplaatst van studenten Geneeskunde en Biomedische Wetenschappen. Het LBMJ creëert hiermee voor studenten de mogelijkheid om hun eerste artikel te publiceren. Het LBMJ heeft een oplage van 4.000 stuks en wordt door veel mede-studenten, docenten en (arts)-onderzoekers gelezen.
Heb jij een interessante wetenschapsstage gedaan en heb je hier een artikel voor geschreven? Of loop je co-schappen en heb je een boeiend case-report dat je graag wilt delen met je medestudenten? Stuur het dan naar 
. De deadline voor het insturen van de artikelen is 3 juli 2009.
Let op de volgende punten voordat je een stuk instuurt:
- Het moet in het Engels geschreven zijn;
- Lever het aan in een Word document;
- Stuur figuren apart mee in jpeg format, niet geplakt in Word;
- Vraag je supervisor om toestemming.

The M.F.L.S. is creating a yearly magazine containing articles written by (bio)medical students. This magazine will be called the “Leiden (Bio)-Medical Journal”, or LBMJ! The articles can be written as part of an internship or a literature-study during a course, or even a case-report seen in the clinic. Students from all study years can send in their article.
Goal of this magazine is to generate more publicity for the research that students are doing at the LUMC. Also, it is a great opportunity for students to publish their first article! First and second year-students can get inspired by the possibilities for doing research. Furthermore, teachers and supervisors will also get a copy to find names of students that have done good work.
This year, the second edition will be published!
Information on the application of the articles:
- Language has to be English
- The article should be a Word-document
- Figures should not be inserted in the document, but handed in as separate pictures (jpg)
- Please check with your supervisor if it is permitted to print your results! This printing of data can be a tricky business, so please check very carefully what you are allowed to put into your article! If you have doubts, you can always refer your supervisor to our emailadresss (stated below).
